The difference between a SSL4000 and SSL6000 as follows:  SSL6000G has 3 X Stereo mix buss (A,B,C) whereas the SSL4000G has Quad mix buss.The 3 X Stereo busses on the 6000 are controlled by a sub mixer matrix which allows you to route any combination of three stereo mix busses to the main programme output, The SSL compressor works across it. Further there is also the feature of a four track tape return built into the matrix.

The console can be cut down in size to Clients requirements.   POA
